The legend of the Louisbourg Ground Crab

Most have forgotten about the legendary Louisbourg Ground Crab.  Not at all like Punxatawney Phil or Peter or whatever his name is, the Louisbourg Ground Crab is a magical crustacean, Chionoecetes bairdi, that rises from the depths to make prognostications about the coming Crab Festival XXI.  The first week of April is rumoured to be the first appearance of the Louisbourg Ground Crab, and as soon as he make his appearance, we will have video and our predictions for Crab Fest XXI.

Seriously.  He does that.

That’s all, folks!

Crabfest XX was a huge success – thanks to everyone who joined us over the weekend, the entertainers and the volunteers who have made this event happen for twenty years!  Start your planning for Crabfest 21, which will be entirely in 3D!***

***Please note: the number of dimensions in which Crabfest 21 can be experienced will vary.  Three dimensions only available if on site.  Some exceptions may apply.  Batteries not included.
